Education is the foundation of holistic transformation. Since 2016, our journey in Ambamoliya has been empowering nearly 240 children through free education, nurturing their minds, strengthening families, and building a brighter future for the community.
All About Our Story
Since 2016, Little Start Academy has been bringing hope and opportunity to the Ambamoliya Slum on the outskirts of Indore. What began with just 15–20 children in a small storeroom has grown into an initiative providing free education to nearly 240 children, from preschool to Grade 10, with the support of 16 dedicated staff members.
Beyond academics, our mission is to nurture the physical, social, cognitive, and spiritual development of every child. By making education accessible and engaging families in community development, we aim to break the cycle of poverty, inspire hope, and empower children to build a brighter future.

About
Little Star Academy, established in 2016, is a beacon of hope for underprivileged children in the outskirts of Indore City.
Registered with the Madhya Pradesh State Board, our school began with just a handful of students as a tuition/coaching centre for slum children.
Today, we gladly offer education up to Grade 8, serving more than 200 bright young minds, supported by a dedicated team of 14+ staff members committed to transforming lives and empowering the future of slum communities.
Why Ambamoliya Slum Community?
Ambamoliya Slum is home to hundreds of families who have migrated from across the state of Madhya Pradesh in search of a better life. But for many, life here is a daily struggle, with little hope for the future. In this challenging environment, education often takes a backseat.
Many children here are drawn into begging, pickpocketing, and child labour and parents in alcoholism, gambling, and frequent disputes, trapped in a cycle of poverty and crime.

Our Vision
Little Star Academy is more than a school, it is a lifeline for underprivileged children and their families. We are committed to nurturing dreams, reducing inequality, and enabling children from marginalized backgrounds to break the cycle of poverty. Our goal is to see these young stars rise to achieve meaningful careers and transform their communities.
Transformative Learning:
Hundreds of slum children receive quality academic education in their community, relieving their families from unaffordable private school fees and giving them hope for a brighter future.
Holistic Support:
Beyond education, we actively support the community’s well-being by providing clean water, nutritious meals, ration kits, vitamin supplements, and medical care, uplifting entire families toward healthier living.
Character Building & Extracurricular Activities:
Our students engage in games, music, library programs, computer classes, art, gardening, and more nurturing creativity, confidence, and critical thinking alongside academic growth.
Career Development & Counselling:
Through regular sessions led by experienced resource persons, we guide children in career planning and provide personal counselling, allowing them to express challenges, fears, and aspirations freely.
